I am a qualified Osteopath and have done further training so that I may treat animals too.
I grew up with dogs and have always wanted to work with them. I have two adorable Clumber Spaniels that are worked and shown. Our older girl, Hettie, picked up an injury early in life and thinking of her future was what finally prompted me to do a postgraduate certificate in animal osteopathy.
I see patients every day that have their lives enhanced by osteopathic treatment - whether it is to further their athletic capabilities or simply to walk without pain.
Animals pick up injuries as we do and whereas many are pets, many others are worked or shown. Osteopathy can help animals that are worked to reach their full potential, pets to enjoy life fully and older animals to go through old age comfortably.
I am a registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and a member of both the Institute of Osteopathy (iO) and the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT).
